Page MultiColumnEditor.
The MultiColumnEditor is a source code editor that displays the edited text in multi-columns mode, like a news paper. Because what matters to me is to see as much source code as possible. It makes a lot of sense with wide high resolution LCDs where one can easely fit 2 or more columns of text. Please don't confuse this with the multi-columns mode that some editors provide where independant columns are actually multiple views on the source file, i.e. when you scoll one column, text does NOT scroll synchroneously in the others, because text on one column is not the continuation of the text on the previous columns, contrary to what it would be in my multi column editor. |
